Giving Back to The Community

SCHOOL SPONSORSHIPS

One of Vast's key motives is to assist in the local communities where we manufacture our furniture. This currently includes the sponsorship of a school of over 700 girls in Jaipur, India. For the past 6 years, in partnership with our suppliers, we have supplied texts and stationary, built classrooms, installed ceiling fans, put in a water bore for clean drinking water, painted the school, and of course updated some of their furniture!

We have built a great relationship with this first school, (they put on an awesome concert each year we visit) and we feel very privileged to be involved with such a great community. Over the next 12 months Vast hopes to extend this program to help more local schools.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Sure, we want to make a profit, but lets try to make a difference at the same time. By partnering with our suppliers to fund kids education in developing communities we can do this.

Our ultimate goal is to try and improve the world by 1 degree (we reckon if 359 other companies do the same thing we can create a revolution).
