Aptly named the “Rafter”, this buffet piece offers far more than first meets the eye! Fitting into our use of sustainability to create distinct appeal, the (surprisingly) eucalyptus timber is sourced from discarded scaffolding construction boards throughout Delhi in India. We found that the superficial finish produced through years of use alongside concrete high-rise towers ended up creating such a marvellous surface with a wide range of appeal.
Finished off with a border of mango wood, each cupboard has its own unique story to tell through its etchings and stain marks, coming together to create quite the distinct, yet subtle façade with plenty of nostalgia.
Materials: Mango hardwood & recycled eucalypt shutterings
