Vast uses only the finest 100% leather from perhaps the most celebrated tannery in Northern Italy.
We use Semi-aniline leather which is more durable than regular leather. Its increased durability is provided by the application of a light surface coating, which contains a small amount of pigment. The hides used in our sofa construction are hand finished using a combination of traditional waxes and oils to recreate the romance of leather that has been long lost in the furniture world.
