At Vast, the safety of our customers is very important to us. This is why we ensure that our products are fitted with the appropriate safety requirements and our customers are fully informed of the measures that should be taken to prevent injury.
Some of our products may require a ‘wall anchor’ to be installed to help prevent the product from toppling over and causing serious injury or death to small children. These products are:
- Bookcases over 600mm tall.
- Storage cubes and modular units over 600mm tall (combined height).
- Entertainment units over 500mm tall.
- Buffets and hutches over 500mm tall
Your anchor kit should have been included either in the packaging or attached to the product itself. We encourage you to install your anchor kit as soon as possible. If you unintentionally discarded your anchor kit or one was not included with your product, please contact us.
Should you wish to install anchor kits on products that you have purchased previously, they can be purchased from your nearest hardware store.
We urge you to complete some further research to make yourself familiar with all recommendations to avoid accidents from occurring in your own home.
