The Vast journey began with the first store opening in Coffs Harbour in 1999, when our founder, Ross, had the vision to create his own designs of sustainable furniture from new and recycled natural materials.

One of the underlying principles from the beginning was to create products that would last for decades, and that meant the style had to be timeless, and the construction and engineering would need to be superior.

25 years on and Vast has grown into a national brand, responsible for recycling thousands of tonnes of salvage hardwood. We're also proud to say we are still manufacturing with the same original cabinetmakers and craftsmen we started with.
