Why Choose Our Teak Outdoor Range
Our teak outdoor furniture is built to last a lifetime. Here's what sets it apart:
Grade A Teak Wood:
We use only Grade A teak - the premium heartwood harvested at peak maturity. It's denser, richer in natural oils, and far superior in strength and appearance to lower grades. The result is furniture with a beautiful warm grain that only improves with age.
Weather & UV Resistant:
Teak's naturally high oil and silica content makes it exceptionally resistant to sun, rain, frost, and humidity. Unlike other timbers, it won't warp, crack, or rot when left outdoors year-round. Making it the ideal choice for Australian conditions.
Sustainably Sourced:
All our teak is harvested from certified, responsibly managed plantations, never old-growth forest. Every piece is fully traceable, so you can feel good about bringing it home.
Low Maintenance:
No sealing, no sanding, no storing away over winter. Simply leave it outside and let it age to a beautiful silver-grey naturally, or apply a light teak oil once a year to keep that warm honey tone. Either way, it looks great.
How to Care for Your Teak Furniture:
One of the best things about teak is how little it asks of you. Here are your two options:
Leave it completely alone:
Teak is one of the few timbers that genuinely thrives without any treatment. Left outdoors, it will gradually transition from its original warm honey-brown to a beautiful silver-grey patina over 6 to 12 months. This is a completely natural process and it does not affect the strength or durability of the wood in any way. Many people prefer this aged look, and it requires nothing from you at all.
Apply a teak sealer or protector:
If you'd prefer to maintain the warm golden tone, apply a teak sealer or protector once or twice a year. This helps lock in the wood's natural oils and slows down the greying process. Simply clean the furniture first with mild soapy water and a soft brush, allow it to dry fully, then apply the sealer evenly with a cloth in the direction of the grain.
A note on teak oil: we recommend avoiding teak oil products for outdoor furniture. Despite the name, teak oil is not the same as teak's natural oils and it can attract mould and mildew over time, particularly in warmer climates. A water-based sealer is a much better choice.
General cleaning:
Wipe down with warm soapy water and a soft brush as needed, always scrubbing with the grain. Avoid pressure washers and steel wool, as these can damage the surface.
